Doğuş University held their first ELT conference at the end of November and quite an event it was. In addition to attending and keeping the general public informed via twitter and Facebook, I also participated as a presenter. Here are my thoughts about the event.

I’ve recently been doing a lot of storytelling to under-fives in the UK, as part of a project called ‘Every Child a Talker’, designed to encourage parents to talk more to their very young children. Increasingly children are reaching primary school with less-developed vocabularies, speech difficulties, or lack of confidence.
